We had a very short Academy meeting yesterday, me Tom and Andy. For those of you who know you can imagine that these are interesting affairs that tend to vender off into different directions. The standard joke is ‘were we having our meeting or not?’

This one was relatively short as I was running off somewhere else but the news was generally pretty good.

The Aesthetic Live Skills course at the end of November is full. Our Business course for 2018 is full. For the leads we have available it looks like our Year Long Implant course for 2018 is full, or certainly at most a couple of spaces left. We have leads for our Sinus course and for our Immediate Full Arch course; it’s likely those will be full too.

You have a choice then to push out more courses, to ‘ring out’ the market, to put as many bums on seats as possible. That was never the intention when we set the Academy up. More bums on seats equals a reduction in quality. A reduction in quality causes a slow death into something horrible and that is not what we are in for.

It is just as important to know when to slow down as it is to run. 

We built the thing that we wanted and now it’s time to concentrate on it, to nurture it and to make it even better.
