Any form of leadership, personal or otherwise is about your performance when things are difficult.
When things are good leadership is silent and not required.
Leadership is required when it’s difficult and when you need to give yourself a good talking to or someone else.
We look at people that are doing well and imagine that they’re great leaders or innovators or warriors but if we scratch the surface we see their true character is defined in the way they act when things are difficult.
