In a week of interviews and jobs and adverts and all sorts of stuff, and as we reach the end of this, I want to put forward the possibility of someone working in an extraordinary place with a great group of people (not The Campbell Clinic).
I was lucky enough to be one of the people to help open the Marlborough Clinic a few weeks ago, and the thing that David and Brenda Nelson are creating in Belfast is genuinely extraordinary.
A significant opportunity has opened up for various reasons (PEST analysis if anybody understands business) for a specialist in oral surgery to work within that extraordinary environment.
For various reasons that will become clear to someone interested in this position, you must be a GDC registered specialist.
Please don't bother coming back at this if you're not, even if you want to be; you have to be on the list or imminently on the list.
In another world, in a parallel universe where things were different, I would be taking this job myself without question.
I would love to have this job (but I would love to have many jobs, and there are only so many things I can do at once).
The chance to work at the Marlborough Clinic and be in Belfast and be surrounded by people like David and Brenda and their wonderful team is quite an extraordinary opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in surgery and dental implants and everything that goes with that.
It is not unreasonable to suggest that somebody who enters into that environment could become one of the best clinicians of their kind in a very, very wide radius (the world).
And so, although it's a little bit cryptic for obvious reasons, please find someone that you know who's on the specialist list and ask them if they want the most extraordinary opportunity.
