A little while ago I wrote about an Aesthetic Live Skills course, you can read about it here

Do not pay any attention to this course if you are entirely happy with placing implants at the front of the mouth and are achieving exceptional results 100% of the time.

If you understand fully the essence of biological healing of the mouth and how that impacts on your choice of implant placement, graft material and technique (not least immediate implants Vs delayed implants) then this course is not for you and you should move on.

If you are completely comfortable with the materials you are using for the restorations and your technique in provisional crown construction is ideal, then again, you are already way past the level of this course and should not pay any attention to it.

If though any of the above does apply to you then it might be worth having a closer look. This is a course limited to 8 participants.

Day 1 is a surgical breakdown of advanced anterior aesthetic cases and implant positioning. It is not specific to a design of implants although we use the Straumann system on this course, the principles can be applied to almost any systems.
We also cover GBR and the biological essence of GBR in this section.

Day 2 is restorative, the components and techniques associated with provisionalisation of aesthetic cases to achieve the optimum soft tissue results, followed by final restorations using advanced materials.

The 3rd and final day is the chance to place implants in patients in the clinic using our surgeries and viewing on the audiovisual system. This gives delegates the opportunity to see multiple aesthetic cases going on throughout the day and to place their own implant and provide GBR on patients who have been carefully selected.

There is also a demonstration of a provisional crown construction.

If you are thinking about taking the leap to more advanced cases, in particular upper anterior dentistry, then why not have a look, email Tom or click on the website.
