I'm still looking for that person who gives me ultimate inspiration.
It's the person who manages to balance being the ideal partner and parent and being perfect at their work.
For me, that would be the person who was a brilliant clinician and teacher and researcher but also a great leader who can inspire the team on a day-to-day basis and turn up with a smile on their face all the time.
It's the person who is totally calm in a crisis and can support people when they're down, empower them, and bring the best out of them.
They would be able to go home and do the same at home, inspiring their children to greatness, health, and happiness and supporting their partner through whichever trials and tribulations they would have and the difficulties of their life.
I'm still looking.
I have found and had the privilege to meet many inspirational people, but everybody needs to improve in some area.
I've already realised why I haven't met someone who is good at everything yet.
I wonder if the rest of us have to realise that now, too and be happy to accept that sometimes we're winning and sometimes we're losing. Sometimes you're the person that empowers and strengthens other people, and sometimes you're the person who needs to turn to other people to be empowered and strengthened.
