Hard work is hard and worthwhile work is hard, and making any kind of a positive difference, which hasn’t been made before is hard.
When I started placing dental implants in 1998 they were really valuable, because they were scarce and they were scarce because nobody knew how to do them, and to learn how to do them was hard, and therefore the work was valuable.
To just “place dental implants” now is easy.
To place them in a mediocre way as quickly as possible is relatively simple, because of this they have been commoditised and are cheaper and cheaper, and that is the value slide that inevitably occurs.
When something good appears, it’s valuable for a while and then it’s copied and then the quality is decreased.
