They say that comparison is the thief of joy but that learning from other people is a gift.
It may well be the case that I can never be as good as you, but I can celebrate how good you are, and I can be better than the current version of me.
Wishing you were someone else is a fool's errand and a trip to mental health destruction.
Wishing you were a better version of yourself tomorrow than that which you are today, is a completely achievable trip into joy and growth.
