Proper artists go beyond competition; they celebrate the art of anyone.
You know you've produced art when you've done it for yourself, not to get market share, a competitive advantage, or get one over on the person down the street.
When you produce the things you're proud of, and you're proud of them because of them and not for anything else, not for the money they raise or the results they gain or the admiration from anyone, then you know, you have produced great art.
That is why artists celebrate art because anyone who is an artist understands how difficult it is to produce things as pure and joyful as this in times as hard as that.
Anyone who's able to do that appreciates when someone else does it.
