Giving up is the bit I find the hardest.
It's the most important skill anyone can develop to move forward in a complicated world where everyone is firing information, opportunities and difficulties in front of you all at once.
Deciding to move forward with a new project ultimately means reducing or stopping a project that you're already working on or that you've been unable to finish.
Some people seem to do this with ease.
I find this difficult.
The risk is you pile more and more on your plate until your plate is actually too heavy to carry.
Taking the time to step back, look, review and see how much you're taking on and (if you're lucky enough to be in a growing organisation) how much someone else can take to allow you to move into a better place for everyone.
This is one of the hardest things to do, but the hardest things to do are always the most valuable.
