Sometimes it’s necessary to state your views clearly and to stand your ground and to be seen to do so amongst the people that matter to you, to prove that you value your values.
At other times though the fight is useless and senseless and it’s far better to spend your energy building something else to help the people you care about.
Knowing when to do each really is a skill and one which pays dividends in the long-term to the best of people.
