I think it is counter intuitive and ludicrous that as your business gets bigger the extraordinary things get smaller. It may be the case that only extraordinary things can be done by small businesses. Mine is now 10 times the size than when I first stepped through the door.

First part of our Business course we encourage people to think outside the box and to do amazing things, here is a little story about something that happened.

My friends Ross and Morag’s practice in Aberfeldy Anderson’s Dentistry over the time of the Business course they moved premises to a new kitted out purpose built place.

Make no mistake though Ross and Morag are artists in dental form and they wanted to celebrate the fact that everything they do is hand made and hand built, specifically for patients. So when designing their new practice leaflets they used local crafts people and they commissioned a set of prints in metal and wood using an old printing press creating exquisite hand made practice leaflets. The photos in this blog show photographs of the press and the individual nature of what was constructed. They brought it to the last module of the Business course and everybody was amazed. It made me wonder what we’re doing that amazes people like that, it should make you think the same too.
