Everybody needs a boss.
It doesn't matter what level of position you hold or which aspect of privilege you're entitled to.
If you're the king or at the bottom of the pile cleaning the toilets for the king, everybody needs a boss.
If you ever have the chance, even for a minute, to be independent of finance and responsibility, then you assume another level of responsibility regarding how you should spend your time.
That isn't easy to self-direct.
Everybody needs someone to tell them what to do sometimes.
