I have a notice board behind my desk, you would have seen it if you’ve seen any of the video stuff I do.
It’s for significant things that I collect over time and it makes me smile when I look at it.
It’s time to stop though, talking about how hard the last 2 years have been and move on to how good the next 2 years could be and so, before I left for my sabbatical I cleared the notice board.
It’s got a couple of cool pictures of my family that have stayed there and everything else is gone.
The only thing that remains is an old sign from when I first joined the practice many years ago to remind me of where I’ve come from and my 'buck stops here' sticker because my buck still stops here.
Next to the notice board is still the spreadsheet which showed how low things got and that’s the one reminder to always pay attention to the money because I’m so bad at that, otherwise the notice board is blank and I’m excited to see what goes on it for the next 2 years.
