More and more of society is set up to encourage us to dodge responsibility.
When something breaks or needs to be cleaned up or is wrong but is difficult to correct, the default societal setting is to leave it for someone else.
If you leave it long enough it will go away and someone else will have to deal with it.
The real value is in the people who take responsibility.
That is the thing about responsibility, you have the opportunity to take it, it’s there for the taking.
The most valuable people, the linchpins, the ones who are worth the most are the ones who are prepared to take responsibility.
