Decisions on shopping

Maybe before we buy something instead of asking the main two questions that we ask:

  1. How much does it cost?
  2. How soon can I have it?

We should also ask another series of questions before we get to those which include:

  1. How many people have been damaged in the making of this product?
  2. How has this product impacted on the environment for years to come?
  3. Could I do without this or is there a better way to get what I need?

Answering the first two questions in product design appeals (currently) to the sheeple (a term coined by my friend, Jal, about the blind society that just follows everyone else).

Answering the following three questions is perhaps the best way forwards in innovation in product development for success in the next 20 years.
