It’s really hard not to act in a reflex, but to go with the intuition all the time.
Not to buy the toilet roll or the petrol or stockpile the money or work as hard as you possibly can grabbing everything you can towards you right now because that will protect you from problems later on.
It’s hard to figure out when to use your intuition and when to push it aside and use your counter-intuition.
Principles will help with that.
The abundance mentality and the collaboration mentality.
If you’re committed to work with good people and committed to build things for the long-term, it often helps to overcome the immediate reflex urge to grab everything towards you for the shortest possible time at the expense of everybody else.
The thing about counterintuitive solutions is that they’re always counterintuitive.
That’s where the emotional work is, overcoming the intuitive.
