Correct in retrospect

Everyone can be right looking backwards.

Everyone knows best after the event; some people use that perceived skill (which, of course, is a falsehood) to frame their view of risk and to try to frame your view of risk.

People will look back at the things you've done and say, "Well, if you hadn't done that, that wouldn't have happened," but all's well in the rearview mirror.

Progress is made by people who are happy to look forward and accept that the world is a complicated place and you cannot cross all the Ts and dot all the I's.

Everyone is right in retrospect.
