As a boy one of my favourite songs was Consideration by Reef.
When I first heard it, it seemed wrong and totally against the culture of the day.
It wasn’t about what was going on, it was about what should be going on.
I don’t think it’s every man for himself.
I don’t think dogs should eat other dogs.
I definitely don’t think time is money, it’s the opposite.
As long as we’re in the rat race we’re a rat and as long as we’re rats, it’s hard to give consideration to anyone else.
As the man said in the song “I don’t think that kindness is a weakness, I don’t have a problem with compassion”.
