The other suggestion from certain clever people that the only way to make progress is to come from a position of broken.

For years I’ve searched myself to understand why it is that when I get comfortable I feel the need to smash it up and start again but that’s because I understand that for me, comfortable is a slow downward death.

This profound two-day module of the business course that we’ve just done with inspirational speakers and inspirational content taught me again more than I could possibly imagine.

John Gibson presented a quote from Brianna Fruean who is a female Maori warrior, the quote that she gave that inspired John was as follows “When the land is in pain, warriors are born”.

You find this message everywhere; clever people seek it out in order to get better.

One of the biggest questions people ask me when they now come to the clinic is “would you ever do it again”.

It’s a hard one to answer because I don’t feel like I’m anywhere close to safe, but I find myself staring at the empty plot of Unit 4 about 50 feet away and drawing sketches in my head.

“In all the good times I find myself longing for change and in the bad times I fear myself” – Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper
