In mid June I had the privilege to visit David Winkler's new practice, Castleview Dental in Windsor.
I got a tour around the practice and time to spend an evening with David and his wife discussing their journey setting up the practice and their plans for the future. David really is an amazing character. He has taken all of his savings and set up the practice of his dreams because he wants to do dentistry right and has realised that very few people share his ethics and the way that dentistry should be provided and therefore he had to have his own thing.
The clinical facilities at the practice are stunning, the views from the surgeries are of Windsor Castle. There is room and plans for expansion and after a tough start in the worst recession in living memory things are really looking up and moving forward.
David is an inspirational, ethical character who has pretty much seen it all in dentistry and is a true expert in material science, adhesive dentistry and aesthetics.
As a speaker for your study club or any other event David is inspirational and now more than ever we must listen to the lessons to be learned from people with such a high level of experience and ethics.
