I previously blogged about Frank Turner's concert that I saw in Nottingham.
I have followed him for over 3 years and have pretty much everything he has done on my iPhone.
It is worth though, spending just a couple of minutes to describe one of the philosophies that Turner gets across on stage as he comes from humble beginnings playing as a solo artist to 30 or 40 people in pubs to infront of about 70,000 in Nottingham Arena.
He explained when we saw him that "the more people that want to come, the more seats we will put out and the less people that want to come, the less seats we will put out but we will still keep doing out thing"
The Frank Turner thing is working, mostly because he has practiced it over 1500 times in shows. He travels all around the world and if you look at his schedule he plays a gig about every second night.
People are beginning to see and people are beginning to hear. He has an authentic message that resonates through a lot of people and he is just doing his bit to get it out there. There is a lot to be learned from an attitude like this.
Pick the thing you think is right and keep doing it and repeat. Eventually in the long game, your time will come and your rewards (whatever they may be) will be given to you. Maybe one time in the future when Turner comes to Nottingham it'll be just me in the audience and he'll have to sing to one, but I will buy a ticket and he will still be doing the same thing.
