Busyness as a disease

The truly exceptional people that I admire are able to mange their time.

They rarely look busy, the rarely look stressed, they seem comfortable in their own skin. I guess that's what I aspire to the most. The situation where I have achieved a balance between the different aspects of my life, but in the true honest spirit of writing a blog I can tell you that i'm not achieving that as well as I would like. The symptoms of busyness as a disease are as follows:

1. Weight gain - this is a direct result of my abnormal relationship with eating and stress.

2. Fitness reduction -  this is a direct result of my decrease in training due to tiredness and lack of time.

3. Not looking at the fuel indicator in my car - almost running out of petrol because I haven't noticed that I don't have any.

4. Not paying attention to anything domestic and letting down my wife and family - not paying attention to arrangements of holidays etc.

5. Leaving the front door open when I go out!

6. Generally rushing from place to place without ever completing a task or managing mediocrity
