Becoming a Recruitment Website?

Recently I posted a job opportunity post in Yorkshire for a dentist I am working with (you can re that again here), which is a great opportunity to any young dentist. We have had significant response to this and hopefully they will find someone.

Tonight’s blog is the other way around.

I am in contact with a young dentist (who I think has the potential to be quite brilliant) who is looking for a job. They’re just about to finish VT, we’ve known them for a long time and they’re now looking for something in the East Midlands; there are specific reasons for that.

This person’s story is quite inspirational and amazing and they would make a fantastic ‘apprentice dentist’ out of VT for the right practice where they can get access to the right support and skills.

They would be a long-term proposition in a great place but not someone to be flogged to death by an overly over bearing UDA system trying to make money for a principle.

If you’re interested in this person then let me know and I might be able to get you a CV and a contact, but it should be East Midlands based.

Why would I bother to do this?

I guess the reason is because it creates ripples. It puts the right pegs in the right holes and every time we manage to do something like this (and we’ve done quite a few now) it just makes a little bit of a difference to the profession.

I am not becoming a recruitment website and I am not taking fees, I am just trying to connect with that significant and increasing group of dentists who are interested in doing things right, for the patient and for the profession.

If you’re interested in this young dentist joining your team as a long-term project then why not hit reply and I might be able to put you in touch.
