Most of the time it’s entirely and utterly essential to focus on what’s here in front of you and to get the work done to make things happen and to move things along.
But some part of your time (best planned and scheduled if possible) is to look outside of here and to be outward facing.
Choosing activities which stretch your capabilities and your knowledge and your boundaries and that make you uncomfortable are some of the best ways you can come back to here, to that place where you’re often and almost always working and make it better and make progress.
