It’s the 19^th of December and I’ve been looking at this date for ages because it’s the start of the sabbatical vol.2

I haven’t made much noise about it this time, certainly nothing like I did last time; but I finished today on the 19^th December and I won’t be back at work until February 5^th.

I will not be contactable on the telephone or by email but if you need me don’t worry; both the Hayley’s at the practice will be able to handle things without any difficulties.

Hayley Edwards (hayleyedwards@campbell-clinic.co.uk) will be able to handle any of the PA tasks, diary, discussions and queries from anybody. Hayley Brown (Hayley@campbell-clinic.co.uk) our practice manager will be able to handle any practice issues you need.

There is a brilliant team of people working all the time over this period including clinical staff and support staff so there will be no difficulties. Last year when I went off the practice stood better without me being there; I suspect it will be the same again.

This year it’s a little bit less dramatic, not making proclamations about what will happen or what I’ll do, I’m just really happy to be able to reconnect with people and reconnect with myself.

I will be working this time, just a little bit, on projects that I won’t to. Some lecture stuff for next year and some other projects but totally undisturbed. The reason I’ll be doing that is because I really like what I do and I rediscovered that to a great degree on the last sabbatical and I never lost it this year.

So for everybody reading this I hope you have a fantastic Christmas and a brilliant new year. The blog will continue to run with a special project called ’46 Blogs’ that starts tomorrow but I have scheduled these all in advance. Any comments or emails you send me I will be able to get to when I come back, but otherwise, I’m off to see Starwars!
