A short celebration

short celebration

Throughout the whole of the building project sometimes it has been difficult to find the time or to justify the effort of writing a blog everyday and at times (in particularly Christmas) I thought I should stop.

But it always returns back to why I am doing and why I started it in the first place and so, today we moved the first set of things into the new practice (Saturday morning. 25th January) I have wrote about a little bit more of this in some other posts but a team of us turned up here this morning between 7 and 8 o’clock and packed up cars and moved them in through the building sit and into the building.

It was one of the first times that some of the guys had seen it!

It was a moment certainly and what will probably be a year of moments going forwards I would think from here.

So, I left there a little bit tired and a little bit drained and then came straight back to my (old) office to produce the blogs, to keep the blog going.

One of my blogging hero’s Seth Godin has written a lot about writer’s block.

The antidote to writer’s block is to write (dictate if you’re me) and just to do it time and time again.

It is cool to celebrate for 10 or 15 seconds, then just get back to work because a year from now you will wish you started back as quick as you could.
