It’s been a long time since we asked for any assistance with the stuff we do for charity and the funds we raise for social legacy apart from asking people to come to the ball and donate prizes.
In June and July of this year we’re pushing forward with a couple of projects, trying to raise money for Cancer Research which is massively close to the hearts of many of us at the clinic who’ve been affected in one way or another in our lives by the subject.
In June of this year more than a dozen members of the team will take part in the Race for Life in Nottingham (more signing up as we go) to try to raise money for Cancer Research.
This is a big deal for many of the guys involved as they’ve never done anything like this before and so if we’ve ever helped or assisted you in anything where you’ve been grateful for our intervention then the just giving page for the Race for Life is here and we’d really appreciate your help.
A week later, Alex Jones, Louis Dunne and I will travel to the Pyrenees with Carl Dunstan (our race director) to participate in the Haute Route Pyrenees.
This was to be one of the greatest sporting challenges of my life and was to raise a sh*t load of money for charity as well as us creating memories that we’d never forget.
Since my whole HYPOT nonsense I’ve had to pare back my aspirations of exactly what I’ll achieve so really, I’d like to ride my bike in any event in the Pyrenees at all but continue to support Louis and Alex as, at the front of the race, as they get to make their mark.

Obviously, this money will be pulled together as different people in the practice go in different directions to make different memories and raise money in different ways for the same group of people.
