A little bit on personal responsibility

A few years ago I did a controlled experiment upon myself.

I tested how much better I felt on a Monday morning at work after I had gotten sh*t f@ced on a Saturday night.

It turned out (in a controlled experiment with a sample size of 1) that I felt remarkably worse on a Monday after I had been sh*t f@ced on a Saturday night.

Incidentally I also felt worse on the Tuesday and Wednesday because of my age and it took me until about Thursday to feel better.

I wrote about it in my diary and understood that the price for getting sh*t f@ced on a Saturday night is feeling shit on a Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday.

I am absolutely entitled within the law and within the confines of our society to get sh*t f@ced on a Saturday night.

That is a risk that I take on board for the potential downside of a hellish first half of the next week.

I think that applies to many more people than me and I think that if you hate Monday mornings, correction of that probably starts with your behaviour on a Saturday night.
