Person A “doing it that way seems very difficult, is there not an easier way I can do it?”.
Person B “ Well no not really, doing it this way is difficult but doing it any other way is not as good”.
Person A “but I want to be able to do it!”
Person B “ Then you’ll have to develop the skills to do it this way if you want to do it properly”.
Person A “I think I’ll just do it the other way because it’s easier”.
This conversation repeats and repeats and repeats until the bar gets lower and the lowering tide lowers all the boats.
Learning how to do the difficult things is where the value is.
