If you haven’t read part 1, you can read it here.
“It's hard, but, on social media, never communicate in anger.
If you read this regularly, you'll know that I don't do social media really in any sort of format, but I am fortunate and unfortunate enough to have people filter and show me things that come in and I’m amazed by people who shout and argue on social media.
One of the rules to live by there, is a Seth Godin rule from his recent blog.
“If it’s all in bold, then none of it is in bold”.
If you gain the reputation of being a shouter, then everything you do is shouting and people turn off to the shouting.
Imagine the scenario where you're trying to argue with an angry teenage child.
It's probably best to remember that the only thing that spreads faster than anger on social media is humour and it's much cleverer.
