So, part 7 of 12 Days of Christmas takes me to Headspace.
I would love to tell you that I do headspace every day or twice a day and it made me a better person, but the truth is I tend to do it least when I need it the most.
If you are unaware of headspace, it is a mindfulness app that has taken the world by storm.
Andy, who narrates all of the guided meditations on headspaces is a Buddhist Monk with a difference.
It is a very accessible app with an extraordinary amount of content and will guide you through the process of entering into mindfulness and the benefits mindfulness could have for you.
I haven’t written about mindfulness a lot here, but since my first ever sabbatical it has become one of the most important things that I do.
Although, I do have to confess, I don’t get it right even half of the time.
Thanks to headspace I am now in a position where I can add some mindfulness to my day when I need it most and it becomes the most wonderful gift and treat that you can give yourself to remove yourself from the madness and hellishness that comes up on a day to day basis.
If you have ever thought, what was all that fuss about, then try the free Headspace month trial (I think that is what you get), I will be surprised if you look back.
