Our Aim

A new course for 2020, our Digital Implant Dentistry Course aims to provide a solid and secure grounding in the full process and protocol of digital implant dentistry planning for general dental practitioners.

We were motivated to construct and build this new course for 2020 largely based on the fact that digital implant dentistry is a complete minefield and sometimes an overwhelming battering ram for people who find themselves feeling isolated in practice.

The course will take place across 2 parts. Part one is three days, covering the surgical aspects of digital implant dentistry and diagnosis and part two is also 3 days and is based on restorative aspects of digital implant dentistry.

The course will be full of hands on, group discussion, live surgery and (hopefully) your own surgery. The theoretical stuff at the start of the course will be taken into the practical towards the end and you’ll be able to take this forwards to build it into your own practice and to develop a system for Digital Implant Dentistry that works for you.

The surgical module in June will take delegates from a minimal based knowledge to an excellent understanding of surgical procedures in digital implant dentistry. This will involve a full review of the technology and processes involved, capturing information for surgical planning, followed by the actual practice of surgical dental implant placement with computer guided surgery. Taimoor Kamran will assist Colin in delivery this module.

The restorative module will be delivered after a summer break by Andy Legg and Ashley Byrne who will assist Andy with the technical aspects of digital implant dentistry. For those that have carried out surgery on the previous module they will be able to work on their own patients to design their own restorations and fit them during the course if they wish.

Delegates will have the choice of taking part in either the surgical module, the restorative module or both.

Taimoor Kamran and Ashley Byrne will drop into the clinical faculty to assist Colin and Andy in the delivery of this course.

There are 16 places available so please get in touch to find out more or reserve your space!
