After qualifying as a Hygiene and Therapist in 2013, Dom returned to dental school and graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield.
Throughout his dental career, Dom has always been passionate about oral surgery, implant dentistry, and restorative dentistry. Since qualifying as a dentist, Dom has embarked on many postgraduate training programmes, primarily based on oral surgery and implant dentistry.
He is also qualified to provide Intravenous sedation and is a member of SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry). Along with Colin, he provides sedation services for the patients at The Campbell Clinic. Dom also has postgraduate qualifications in interpreting and reporting Cone Beam CT scans used extensively in implant placement planning.
Over the years, Dom has been lucky to travel to many countries with his dentistry. He is passionate about providing dentistry to people not fortunate enough to access primary care facilities. These places have included countries like Burundi in Africa and Nepal to provide remote communities with surgical-based dental care. In the UK, Dom has spent time going into schools to help record levels of tooth decay and aid access to dentistry for children.
In his spare time, you can find him in the Peak District riding his bike, running, or walking the dog with his partner, Beth.
