Delegates will learn through immersive 4K live surgery and guided hands-on workshops, with a focus on free gingival grafting, palatal harvesting, split-thickness techniques, muscle release, and the use of contemporary microsurgical instruments.

Gareth Calvert is a Consultant, Specialist and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School.

Over the last decade, Gareth’s specialist practice has focused on the multidisciplinary rehabilitation of patients with hypodontia, encompassing dental implant treatment, hard- and soft-tissue surgery, and the management of complex complications. He also has a subspecialty interest in endodontics, particularly endodontic microsurgery and the surgical repair of external cervical resorption.

His clinical work has been recognised with awards from numerous specialist societies. Gareth lectures extensively across the UK and internationally, with a particular passion for hands-on education and collaborative learning. He has published widely on clinically relevant topics and is especially proud of his book on dental trauma.
