The Shape of things to Come

So that was the week that was last week, where the first face-to-face Dental Entrepreneurial Bootcamp took place at the clinic and it would be nice (or probably not really that nice) to think that we could have a quiet one this week.

But such is in the way that life is and such are the things that we seek to do that every week seems to ramp a little bit faster and a little bit faster "It never gets easier, you just get faster" -  Greg LeMond, first American to win the Tour de France.

This week attention flips just a little bit as Dominic Smithers and I travel to Gdansk in Poland to do a guided surgery and coDiagnostix master class with the geniuses that are Maja and Krzysztof Chmielewska.

We're also trying to develop joint courses with them both in things like photography and digital guided planning and guided surgery (Maya is a 31-year-old developing genius in guided surgery who is global and grandstand).

This forms part of the ITI editor-in-chief job but also part of the chairman of The Campbell Academy job because moving forward this week, we're now 36 months from opening our new practice and 36 months from launching our digital campus.

It would be remiss of me not to apply the same principles to strategic planning that we tried to teach to the dentists and teams that were here last week.

So, our three-year mission (a value is different from a mission, and a vision is different from a value, which is different from a mission) is to open our campus project.

It's quite simple: just open the campus.

The campus is Unit Four, with all the products developed in it, nine more dental chairs, the upstairs office space, and the expansion of The Campbell Academy upstairs in Unit Two.

The digital campus is a digital clubhouse project with an enormous amount of clinical and business-related material that's interactive, special, and worth it.

And so that project starts again this week as we were distracted last week, delivering the course.

A little while after this, I go back to Switzerland to advance it a little bit more and, then to Singapore to advance it a little bit more than that and then to Amman to advance it a little bit more than that.

I always want it to be this way and never want to feel finished.

We talked about this on the business course.

To be comfortable, to be safe is to stagnate.

There is no stagnation here.

There is no stagnation for me.
