I’ve decided to use doom scrolling as one of my new favourite phrases, it was invented by Seth Godin. I watch everybody doom scrolling all of the time now as they seek to find news which fits their narrative therefore makes them feel better (while almost exclusively making them feel worse).

Drinking from the fire hose of Covid-19 and societal breakdown news makes it almost impossible to make any positive difference due to the paralysis that it causes back into the proverbial rabbit.

It’s fine to take information from trusted and reputable (in your own mind) sources to a certain degree.

At some time though, you have to act positivity on the information that you have assimilated.

Not enough action going on at the moment, too much doom scrolling.
