In the first week of October, we begin the first version of our new Digital Dental Entrepreneurial Program.
This is the course that was requested by the ITI when I travelled there in April of this year.
After being polled, 97% of their members said that dental business education was either important or very important to people working in dentistry.
Following this poll, the ITI realised that 30,000 members and 100,000 associated dentists needed dental education and business opportunities and tasked us to provide the online course for all 100 countries and 33 sections.
This course is the first edition of the new, completely rewritten, redesigned element. It is designed for you to construct your three-year business plan, either as an associate or a practice owner, by the end of the course.
Modules on the course run over 3.5 days each, with one week of onboarding at the beginning and one week of catch-up at the end, and it's entirely digital and online.
You can pick up the pieces at your own pace. Ideally, you'll follow it through every 3.5 days with another part of the jigsaw towards your three-year business plan.
There's a finance module, a marketing module, a human resources and leadership module, a sales module, a strategy module and a business planning and a business plan module.
We have five places left on the course (we've capped the course on this occasion to 40 delegates), and there will be people on here from many different parts of the world who had previously been involved in dental business education with the ITI and wish to carry things on further for various reasons.
If you think you need help and you wish to come out towards the middle of November with a plan for the next three years to take your business to the next level, then why not have a look?
The joy of this course is in the peer-to-peer learning, the people you'll meet and the ideas you share, and we hope we might see you there.
