Decades

In our first two decades we were schooled.

In our third decade we started work.

In our fourth decade we built a life, usually through marriage and children and a career.

In our fifth decade we consolidated that life to leverage as much as we could out of it.

In our sixth decade we prepared to finish.

In our seventh decade (if we didn’t die) we tried to enjoy the fruits of our labour with feeling health and in our eighth decade generally we were done.

The world is upside down now and round and round and back to front. We can learn and school and work and consolidate and rest and explore and adventure and enjoy in any of the decades at any of the time.

Everything is there at almost everybody’s finger tips to allow this to happen.

It’s a choice.
