In a world where we stop telling people what to do and instead ask them to do their best, creating the conditions to get stuff done is the best possible thing you can do.
If you find that something keeps going wrong or isn't working the way you thought, it's probably because one of the three things that are most important in a modern working environment are wrong.
Almost always, what we need are the right people in the right environment with the right tools.
In these circumstances, you don't have to be on top of everyone or check their work every 10 seconds.
Not everybody uses the tools the same or the environment, and not everyone's version of brilliant is the same as yours, but if you put all of those three things together and apply a little bit of direction and a lot of culture, wonderful things can happen.
