Is it possible that there are people promoting their practices as ‘non-cosmetic dentists’.?
Is it possible that there are people promoting their practices as ‘non-aesthetic dentists’? i.e. – “come into our practice for non-aesthetic dental care”
Is it possible that there are people promoting their practices in the UK as ‘painful dental practices’? i.e. – “come and visit us for some of the most painful dentistry in town’ against the ‘pain free’ dental practices that are promoted.
I am beginning to see people’s profiles in magazines and online who promote themselves as ‘cosmetic dentists’
Does this mean that they provide cosmetic dentistry or that as a dentist they are cosmetic? As far as I am aware cosmetic dentistry is not a specialty. There is no formal training pathway in cosmetic dentistry. I think cosmetic dentistry can generally be summarised as ‘make the tooth you’re fixing look like a tooth’
Are the public really that daft that they are going to fall (in the long term) for this type of marketing?
