Today we have relaunched our 2017 Education Programme.
We really love our Education Programme.
It’s digital, has a great design, and we hope it gives people who are new to The Academy a genuine idea of who we are and why we are here.
We are here because we are passionate about making a significant difference to the provision of dental education in the UK.
We are here because we want to create a tribe of like-minded, ethical practitioners who are looking to be the best they can be and who have their patient’s best interests at heart.

Here is a quick summary of NEW courses introduced for 2017.
Occlusion Live Skills with Charlotte Stilwell
A two day event hosted by Charlotte Stilwell where through a mixture of lectures and practicals delegates will get an in depth knowledge of assessing and planning occlusion schemes for natural dentitions and implant dentistry in straightforward and complex cases.
A Sedation Update with Adam Glassford
Adam, a good friend of The Academy’s, will provide a sedation update as a one day Master Class. A course suitable as an update for current sedation dentists, sedation nurses and new sedation nurses.
Update in Medicine related to implant dentistry with John Gibson
John’s primary areas of interest are in Oral Medicine and Human Disease and through a one day Master Class he will update delegates in these vital areas. John will also host an ITI Study Club in Nottingham that same evening reviewing consent for implant treatment options.
Implant Treatment of the Geriatric Patient with Stephen Barter
We are delighted to welcome Steve to provide a one day Master Class followed by an ITI Study Club that same evening reviewing Treatment Guide Volume 9.
Building the Modern, Independent Dental Practice Business
Over six two-day modules, this course presents topics, speakers, practical exercises and material to assist Principles and Practice Managers to improve their business surroundings, business thinking and teams to be prepared to grow their practices further. The course will run from February to October 2017.
Finally, we have a couple of places available at The Year Implant Course beginning at the end of January so if either yourself or someone you know is looking to get in implants in 2017 we would love to speak with them!
