I was looking for an idea for a blog because Millie is going on holiday, and I had to get a load of ones together.

I passed on something from Tom that I got from a company that I bought my Road iD band for riding my bike and for when I fall off so that when the guys scrape me off the deck, they've got some idea of who to contact and what my medical history is.

Road iD is a great little business. It's in America.

Somebody in the UK should copy it.

The stuff they send through, though, is brilliant; just the way they market and the way they brand would make me want to shop with them again and again.

And so, I passed it to Tom and said, is there anything in this that we could use or learn from to make us a little better?

Tom is an expert in marketing. Of that, there is no doubt, and he said to me that he'd been listening to a podcast about it where someone was on this exact point.

You could design a train that was ten times faster than the existing trains, but it would be tough and expensive, potentially unsafe and massively risky, and might not get the traction you were looking for.

It might be easier to design a train that was ten times better, not better because it was faster but better in other ways.

Let's focus at our place on being ten times better, not ten times bigger or ten times faster, but just ten times better.

That will definitely win.
