In my operating session between 7:30 and 1pm on Wednesday last week, I made enough money to buy a very, very nice watch or very, very nice other things, whatever I may choose to purchase (for the record, I won't buy anything with that money because it will go somewhere else back into the business to make us better actually).
The following day, though, I had the chance to ride my bike with one of my friends. They gave up making some money in the afternoon to ride for two or three hours on a bike, chatting to a friend and stopping for a coffee in the late autumn sunshine.
Which individual is more successful?
It's difficult for us to define our personal success, isn't it?
It's hard because it's caught up with expectations of what other people should think or what they do, or what you see seems to be successful for other people.
But it's probably best to remember that you can't do both of those things at the same time.
Defining success is really complicated and really hard, and that's probably why it's something you should focus your mind on.
