(this post is not about car parks – obviously)
The gym that I go to has a huge car park. The best spaces with the most room around them are always near the back. This would, of course, mean that people would have to park slightly further away from the entrance to the gym and walk across the car park to get to the gym. Instead, it would appear, that everybody fights for the spaces closest to the gym door. People squeeze their cars into spaces or drive round and round waiting for a space to become available in the 2 rows closest to the door. These are people who are going to the gym presumably for exercise who haven’t realised that the best spaces are near the back of the car park. Isn’t it always the way that the best option for the best outcome generally takes more effort?
