Every so often it’s nice to do a blog about things that are coming up, some things that we or I are involved in and some things that we’re not; just interesting things that you might want to click on to see if you want to attend that might be fun or interesting.
The ITI are an exceptional organisation, focused around patient care in implant dentistry, full of knowledge, exceptional individuals and loads of information. The AGM in London is free for Members. There is also a young dentist component this year. It is based in the centre of London near St Pancras and Kings Cross and as a one-day, very inexpensive implant seminar it is fantastic. I will be speaking on implant mentoring with my great friend and mentee Ross Anderson for 20 minutes but I promise the rest of the guys are good!
This will be the first of its kind in the UK really and as an introduction to DSD will be brilliant because Jameel is brilliant. If you’re interested in this type of thing and developing it in your practice then sign up. Two of the guys from our place are going.
I have talked about this before, Henry Schein have taken it to the next level with two days of everything digital in London. It is inexpensive, is at a great venue in the centre of London and should be a really exciting event for people either in digital dentistry or getting into digital dentistry.
From our point of view we have the CBCT reporting course which is three days with Michael Bornstein, Colin Campbell, Andrew Legg and Taimoor Kamran. This introduces all aspects of reporting CBCTs on a competence based platform but also an introduction to guided surgery.
The Sinus Grafting Course is coming up in April and the Implant Restorative Course in July.
Finally we have two conferences coming up. The first is DES in June. This is a really innovative conference in the style of a TED conference. If you would like to attend this then you can book here:
We will be advertising the Failure Conference in the next few weeks. Email on colin@campbell-clinic.co.uk if you are interested.
