Exactly, consistently

Everyone has an exactly in their world, at least one, but often many more than one.

One of the 'exactlys' in my world would be to place a dental implant using computer-guided surgery into the exact position so that I could immediately screw a crown that was premade onto the implant within a fraction of a millimetre of accuracy.

You see it presented and done online, on videos and presentations, and that's a wonderful thing to watch.

Another consideration in the world of exactly though is consistently.

If you cannot consistently place the implant in exactly the correct position and consistently screw the crown on, then you consistently waste crowns you have made, which never fit, you take more time, distress the patient more, and end up in a situation where you can't complete the task.

Exactly is one thing, and presenting exactly is impressive, but consistently, that's probably how the great things are done.
