37. Today we Decided on a Thing - published 17.07.2014

This was published in July 2014, 8 months after yesterday’s blog about how long it takes to make a thing. This was a cryptic flag in the sand for the major project of work that we started at that time which we hoped would be finished or reaching a conclusion to two years later. It turns out that it will not be concluded until more than four years after July 2014 but I will reference back to this again when we make the big announcement this year about the huge things that are going on for all of us working at the clinic. We will be able to tell the story about all the work that we've done and what we've gained from the 17th July 2014. 

Today (last week actually) I sat down with the Senior people at my practice and we decided on a thing that will start in 2 years time.

This is an exciting thing, a very big project, but we had a chat about it philosophically, were honest about how much work would be involved and what it would take to pull it off then agreed we all wanted to do it.

That is how it starts.

Of course there is a lot of water to flow under the bridge util 2 years time, things may change, circumstances may alter and the thing might not come about but because we sat down and had the chat we are on a path towards it now and the chances are it might just happen.
