Wild West.. Serious

Written by Colin Campbell | 24/08/17 17:00

Ok it’s serious now as far as the Charity ball is concerned.

It’s the 18th November at The Crowne Plaza in Nottingham and it’s compulsory fancy dress, the theme is Wild West. We have 220 people pledged to come so we have space for about another 80 odd and we would love you to be there to make up the numbers for a full house.

If we hit 300 we will go well over £50,000 raised at our Charity balls to date to be split between Bridge2Aid and The Friary in Nottingham. If you are in dentistry you will know Bridge2Aid provide emergency dental care in East Africa (particularly Tanzania) and The Campbell Clinic is responsible for the emergency dental care provision for hundreds of thousands of people in that part of the world thanks to this amazing charity.

If you are anywhere near West Bridgford in Nottingham you will know that The Friary is a fantastic day care centre for homeless and disadvantaged people, providing extraordinary support and resources to people in the most difficult circumstances.

We all get the chance to have fun and have ‘a ball at the ball’ but at the same time to be able to help people who are in a much worse situation that us. It’s really easy to get there, why not book a table for your work night out for Christmas or get a group of friends together and be among the last of the people to book a place to make this a hugely successful night for all involved.

Thanks very much for your time I really hope to see you there. There’ll be a few surprises as well; it should be a great night.

The Crowne Plaza, Wollaton Street, Nottingham, NG1 5RH
