Who you know

The more complex the world gets, the more complexities you encounter and the more problems that exist.

Fixing those problems as they arise becomes extremely valuable indeed.

Our business went from 4 people to 52 people and continues to grow and so the problems become greater in number and greater in complexity day by day.

Most of the time when we encounter a problem that we’ve not seen before, it requires the assistance of people with different skillsets than us.

In that situation it becomes not what you know but who you know.

Who you know is built on relationships and trust and cooperation and collaboration and longevity.

Who you know is a form of safeguarding.

Building solid relationships with good people today is almost inevitably going to help you out with difficult problems tomorrow.
