Wake up

Just for the record technology isn’t going away.

Yesterday I found out that 18% of practices in the UK have an IOS (intraoral scanner).

But even of that 18%, 99% of that 18% only use the intraoral scanner for restorative impressions.

This technology isn’t going away, it’s moving forward at the most extraordinary pace.

It’s not too late and you haven’t missed the boat, but it will be harder to get onto the back of that boat if you don’t at least think about looking at it now.

Five years from now, any decent practice will IOS scan a patient the minute they walk through the door.

This ticks a hundred million boxes included that for compliance, patient experience, clinical ethics, forensic record taking and an all manner of different things.

If you’re not going to be here in 5 years, then do not bother but if you are probably best that you started yesterday.
